Zihuatanejo's coordinates are 17.38N and 101.33W. Our standard time is -6 hours from GMT, the same as Central Standard Time in the U.S.
So, according to the website, our sun should set at 6:21 PM on New Year's Eve, December 31, 2001. Sounds about right to me! I'd still try to get there before 6 if I were you.
