Should be able to obtain the final tallies in a couple days. There are some tag cards to get from Captains, figures to finalize, etc.. The committee wanted a couple days off to recover, etc..
Overall a big success. Total boats were 129. Yes, fish were taken & weighed BUT Luis Marcel Castro had a list of people to give these fish to. All taken were given to those in need. Basically 1/2 fish per family, NONE were sold, NONE thrown away. Preliminary figures show about a 15-20% take out of about 1000 fish caught, only about 5-10% above normal mortality rates. These are the figures they are trying to finalize.
